Google Veo 3 Becomes Free for the Weekend: How to Use It

Google’s Veo 3, a text-to-video tool that is changing the world of content creation, is now free for all users this weekend. Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can use it.
Google has made its AI-based video creation model, Veo 3, freely accessible for the weekend. All users will have the right to create three videos through the Gemini app. This short-term opportunity is a must-use for anyone who wants to produce creative and cinematic scenes.
Using the “Veo 3 Fast“ option in Gemini, you can create 8-second, 720p resolution videos. This version, which works faster than the standard model, allows users to quickly visualize the scenes they imagine.
How to Use Veo 3

- Open Gemini.
- Go to the video creation menu.
- Write your first prompt. Example:
- Subject + action: “Knight walking in a misty forest”
- Camera/style: “cinematic shot, slow tracking”
- Audio/dialogue: “epic strings, the knight says ‘The journey begins'”
- Select “Generate”.
- Save or share.
Keep in mind that Google is allowing three free video creations this weekend, and the campaign will end on Monday, August 25, at 08:00 AM time. The campaign is limited to 16:9 videos that are 8 seconds long and have a 720p resolution.
